About the office

The Secretary-General Office (SGO) functions as the coordination, administration and document management hub of the association. Its duties commence from inauguration by receiving and securing the original documentation of elections results. SGO is also responsible for securing the original copy of the Association ByLaws Statute, to then make it available to the Sudanese Embassy in Doha, as well as on demand by other official entities and/or members of the association.

In coordination with Executive Office, SGO is tasked with inviting and organizing both internal and external meetings. This includes internal meetings of the Executive Office as well as external meetings, sessions, and General Assembly. This office is to coordinate the administration and reporting on implementation of agreed on tasks, actions, deliverables, decisions, and recommendations both internally and externally.

Preparation and issuing of minutes of meetings, agreements, correspondences, record keeping and archiving of all documents (hard copy and e-copy) generated from within the Executive Offices as well as to/from General Assembly and external bodies, are all managed by SGO.

Secretary-General Office is delegated to represent the Association and to execute other tasks as assigned by the Chairman of the Executive Committee.
