About the office 

The Communication office (information and media) office looks at the external marketing and communications for the association, as well as provide internal supports for the any information technology needs.  The duties of the office as per the bylaws are as follows:

1. Motivate and honor the diverse achievements of the membership and its stakeholders.
2. Marketing of the organization performance in different circles.
3. Market  association projects and support in providing financial resources to implement programs and projects in cooperation with the respective office. 
4. Contribute to attracting new and active members.
5. Introduce links in different media and through all available channels, and ensuring optimal use of these media outlets promote the association and its various programs.
6. Draft official statements and preparing information materials related to the association’s activities and publishing them after the approval of the committee executive.
7. Execute the tasks assigned to the office by the Chairman or the Executive Committee.
8. Form the Information Committee with the approval of the Executive Committee.

Building on the above mandate, the communication office has two broad work-streams, (1) foundational, and (2) operational responsibilities. 

The foundation responsibilities cover, but not limited to, the following: 

1. Develop the branding and brand guidelines for the association 
2. Establish the association online presence in the different social media channels 
3. Develop the association website 
4. Develop the internal information technology operating model to support executive office functions

On the operational front, the office responsivities include, but not limited to, the following: 

1. Operate the association social media accounts 
2. Maintain the association website 
3. Manage the internal and external digital communication 
4. Manage media production and digital content 
5. Support ongoing activities for the various executive committee offices
