Sudanese Engineers Association Qatar

The Executive Committee consists of members elected by the General Assembly as members of the Executive Committee. Its two-year term starts from the date of its election.

The Executive Committee consists of thirteen members in addition to the Chairman, as follows:

  1. The President
  2. Vice President
  3. General Secretary
  4. Secretary of the Professional Development Office
  5. Secretary of the Social and Cultural Affairs Office
  6. Secretary of the Information Office
  7. Secretary of the Member Services Office
  8. Secretary of the Financial Affairs Office
  9. Six members that are assigned as deputy secretary in one of the Executive Committee offices

The following offices of the Executive Committee shall be formed:

  1. Office of the Secretary-General (General Secretary + his deputy from one of the members of the Executive Committee)
  2. Professional Development Office (office secretary + deputy from one of the members of the Executive Committee)
  3. Social and Cultural Affairs Office (secretary of the office + his deputy from one of the members of the Executive Committee)
  4. Information Office. (Secretary of the office + his deputy from one of the members of the Executive Committee)
  5. Member Service Office (office secretary + deputy from one of the members of the Executive Committee)
  6. Financial Affairs Office (office secretary + his deputy from one of the members of the Executive Committee)

Below is the history of the association terms presidents: 

  • 1992 - 1994. - Headed by Eng. Abu Aqleh Suleiman
  • 1994 - 1998  - Abdul Rahman Bashir
  • 1998 - 2000 - Abd al-Salam Khader
  • 2000 - 2004 - Abbas Abu Raida
  • 2006 - 2012 - Mutassim Al-Taher
  • 2012 - 2017 - Ghazi Yaqoub
  • 2018 - 2021 - Prof Nimir Albashir
